Hello world

Well i just thought id have a little go & see if I could start a blog of my own after reading everyones elses all the time - so here goes lol

What shall I say...............
well I cant remember when i learnt how to knit but had a brief mad enthusiam for it whilst at 6th form college.
Mostly i knitted loads & loads of scarfs - I did start a basic jumper but never got very far & its ended up frogged - do still have the pattern though so u never know I could knit it one day.

So then I didn't knit again for about 15 years then I had my first beautiful baby boy & my mum helped me find a very basic cardigan pattern to knit him as it was nice & relaxing.
I knitted several of these then stopped again, see a pattern here ?????

But then I brought a cardigan pattern & yarn for me & started knitting it - its an UFO now & has been for 6 years !

I had a second baby boy & knitted him nothing - oh the shame - until my sister produced me a nephew & i decided to knit him a poncho. So once that was done (turned out too girly for him & sister HATED it) I went on to knit a cardy for my DS2 & that was that !

So in the last year I have knitted cardy for DS2, cardy for DS1, 2 cardys for darling nephew, hats for both DSs , gloves for me, 4 pairs of socks, mittens for DS2 & nephew & cardy for me.

Also have an UFO of yet another cardy waiting in the wings !

I have lots of stash to knit other projects & I just cant keep up with all the exciting stuff there is to knit out there.

I am a totally obessed knitter now & proud of it !!
